At ChefBites, we are committed to delivering high-quality meals and a smooth customer experience. Because our products include freshly prepared food and on-demand services, our refund policy is designed to be fair, transparent, and efficient.

1. Order Accuracy & Issues

You may be eligible for a refund, store credit, or replacement if:

  • You received the wrong item(s)
  • Items are missing from your order
  • Food arrives damaged, spoiled, or unsafe to consume
  • There is a significant quality issue

To report an issue, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and include:

  • Your order number
  • A description of the issue
  • Photo evidence, if applicable

2. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds are generally not available for:

  • Change of mind after an order has been confirmed
  • Minor variations in taste, appearance, portioning, or presentation
  • Incorrect delivery information provided by the customer
  • Delivery delays caused by third-party delivery partners
  • Orders marked as delivered by the delivery carrier

3. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 5 minutes of placement for a full refund. After this window, orders may already be in preparation and may no longer be eligible for cancellation.

4. Delivery Issues

If your order is not delivered or is marked as delivered but not received, please contact us within 12 hours so we can investigate.

Depending on the situation, we may offer:

  • A full or partial refund
  • Store credit
  • A replacement order

5. Catering & Large Orders

For catering, bulk, or scheduled large orders:

  • 48+ hours before delivery: Full refund
  • 24–48 hours before delivery: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours before delivery: Non-refundable

Custom or specially prepared items may be non-refundable once production has started.

6. Refund Method

Approved refunds may be issued to the original payment method or as ChefBites store credit, at our discretion.

Refund processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider, but typically take 5–10 business days.

7. Fraud & Abuse Prevention

ChefBites reserves the right to deny refund requests that appear fraudulent, excessive, or abusive. We may limit refunds or credits for customers with repeated claims.
